Ming Cheng Educational Travel 

Ming Cheng provides educational travel opportunities throughout China to American universities and their students as well as independent travelers looking for an educationally enriching and rewarding China travel experience. We are unique in the educational tour market because we are familiar with both the teaching needs of the universities and the logistical realities of traveling in China. Ming Cheng creates exciting itineraries that get to the heart of Chinese culture while bypassing the undesirable parts of traditional tourism. Our programs are academically focused, culturally enriching and full of adventure and self-discovery.

Our Tours 

Ming Cheng offers two types of travel opportunities. Our Academic Tours help universities, colleges and other educational institutions provide academically rewarding, tailored tours that meet the institution’s and their students’ needs. These trips enable students to earn college credit in an academic environment plus enjoy a safe and fun-filled experience in China. We also offer thought provoking Specialty Tours to individuals and groups who may not be affiliated with an educational institution but who want more from their China experience than traditional China tours can offer. Some of the specialty tours are variations on our academic tours (only without college credit or homework!). Other tours focus on participants’ skills or interests (photography, cuisine, athletics, eco-tourism) while exploring China and its culture.

Our Institute 

Ming Cheng Educational Travel is part of our larger project: Ming Cheng Institute. We believe that, by increasing knowledge, expanding familiarity and developing relationships between the people of China and the U.S., we can help ensure understanding, cooperation, economic success and peace in the future. Ming Cheng Institute fosters this cultural understanding through its educational websites, course & curriculum design, exhibits and exchanges (as well as through educational travel).
